12th July 2007 Windsurfing: Hayling Island Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F3 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: 15 Weather: Sunny Max Speed: -45 Distance Covered: Very flat session. Arrived about 19.15 on hope of wind, but found it to be decreasing and people leaving. Met Bill Tonge, just arrived from work to check it out. Rigged 6.5/JP 102, went out at high tide but so flat no shorebreak! Gentle steam-about, wind dropping all the time. Did actually plane at some points, when the wind picked up 1/2 a notch, but really too much effort given everything. |
